I) General Resolutions

  1. The Organizer of the 3rd International Workshop on Functional Nanostructured Materials (FuNaM-3) (hereafter called ‘Workshop/Conference’) is the Faculty of Chemistry Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland.

  2. The Conference will be held on 6–8.10.2021 at the Faculty of Chemistry Jagiellonian University in Krakow (Gronostajowa 2, 30 - 387 Krakow, Poland).

  3. The Organizers have exclusive rights to the name and graphical sign of the Workshop.

  4. The Organizers reserve the rights to change the form of the event due to the worldwide pandemic situation

II) Registration

  1. Only correctly registered via online form will be considered as participants of the Workshop.

  2. Registration form will be available from 8th March 2021 via the Workshop website: http://www.funam.confer.uj.edu.pl

  3. Registration will be open for young scientists (PhD candidates, post-docs) and representatives of sponsors.

  4. The Participants of the Workshop are obliged to sign an agreement for processing personal information strictly for registration purposes in accordance with the regulation regarding the protection of data. All personal details provided by the Participants will be administrated by the Faculty of Chemistry Jagiellonian University in Krakow (Gronostajowa 2, 30 - 387 Krakow, Poland). All personal data is protected according to law.

  5. Data will be processed in order to carry out the Conference. All details can be accessed and corrected by the Participant.

  6. The registration is completed after sending at least one abstract (no more than three). Abstract template is available on the Workshop’s website.

III) Fee payment

  1. Conference fee depends on the date of registration:

    1. from 8th March to 10th June 2020 – early registration with lower conference fee – 250 PLN/55 EUR

    2. from 16th June to 15th September 2021 – registration with full conference fee – 300 PLN/70 EUR

  2. Conference fee provides full participation in lectures, workshops, coffee breaks, lunches and includes all of the conference materials.

  3. The organizers do not provide accommodation and transport.

  4. In case of absence of the Participant fee payment would not be reimbursed.

  5. If the form of the conference will change into an online version, the fee will be reduced. In such case, the reimbursement for the early payments will be provided.

IV) Participation in conference

  1. Maximum of three abstracts can be sent by each Participant (either one accepted oral and two poster presentation or three poster presentations). Every participant pays only one fee for all presentations.

  2. There are two types of possible participation in the conference:

    1. Oral presenter – there is a possibility to give only one oral presentation. The participant needs to pay the registration fee and to submit an abstract for oral presentation.

    2. Poster presenter – there is a possibility to have maximum three poster presentations. The participant needs to pay the registration fee and to submit an abstract for every poster presentation.

  3. Oral presentations will be selected by the Scientific Committee from the submitted abstracts. The information about acceptance will be sent individually to each Participant.

  4. All abstracts of poster presentations will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee. The information about acceptance will be sent individually to each Participant.

  5. Competition for the best poster presentation will be carried out during the Workshop.

  6. All Participants who would like to take part in the competition are obligated to give a rapid presentation on their (maximum one) poster. The presentation (in PDF format) must be sent before the opening of the Workshop. 

  7. Selected posters will be awarded by the Scientific Committee. Awards will be given only to those Participants who will be present during the Closing Ceremony.

  8. Every Participant will receive a certificate of attendance in the Workshop.

V) Final Regulations

  1. The Organizers reserve the exclusive right to make changes in the Regulations. In case of any changes, Participants will be informed by e-mail message.

  2. The Regulations are available on the Conference website.

  3. The Organizers reserve the right to suspend, interrupt, prolong or cancel the Conference with prior informing the Participants.

  4. The Organizers are not responsible for any difficulties or impossibility of holding the Conference, owing to circumstances beyond their control.

  5. The Participants are fully responsible for eventual damage they may have caused in the Conference area.

  6. In any case not regulated by hereby Regulations, the Polish law should be applied.
